Atlas Chiropractic was founded by Dr. Brown Hamer and his wife Fabiola Marquez Hamer in order to pursue their goal of providing comprehensive chiropractic care, quality therapeutic massage, and a vast array of wellness and whole food nutritional products in a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere in Dallas’ Uptown area.
A timely visit to Atlas can reestablish normal alignment and mobility before soft tissue problems develop. Regular massage can release chronically contracted muscles and fascia, improving balance among muscle groups and promoting healthful circulation. Your body will be more resilient in the face of daily stresses, less prone to pain and injury.
Dr. Hamer graduated from LSU in 1999 with a bachelor’s degree in Microbiology. He continued his education at Parker College of Chiropractic, graduating in January of 2003. An avid learner, Dr. Hamer currently is engaged in earning his diplomate in neurology.
His interest in chiropractic began at an early age, as his father was a chiropractor for 25 years. In fact, Dr. Hamer had his first adjustment when he was 2 days old. He is a testament to the health and quality of life that can be achieved through regular chiropractic care.
His interests are varied and well rounded. When visiting Dr. Hamer as a patient, feel free to discuss topics as wide-ranging from basketball to neurology.
Fabiola Marquez Hamer graduated from Texas Tech University with a bachelor’s degree in Nutrition. Like Dr. Brown Hamer III, she also continued her education at Parker College of Chiropractic and graduated in January of 2003.
She discovered the benefits of chiropractic care after months of nagging, stabbing pain in her chest and upper back that several medical doctors couldn’t find the cause to and prescribed pain medications and even antibiotics. Then her neighbor, a student/intern at Parker College of Chiropractic adjusted her spine and found the cause of her pain was coming from a subluxated rib. From that point on, the pain was gone, and about a year after that, Fabi was attending Parker College.
Her interests are as varied as her husband’s, their 5 year old son Marshall takes center stage. And like any proud mom, she’ll be happy to show off pictures if anyone wants to see them.
